What I collect, why I collect it, and how to stay in control of your data.
Data controller
The data controller for any personal information you share through this site is Ilona Jamilla, a freelance marketing consultant based in Marbella, Spain.

What I collect
The only personal data I collect directly is what you choose to send me through the contact form: your name, your email address, and a short note about your project.
This site also uses analytics and advertising cookies, but only if you accept them in the cookie banner. You can change that choice at any time.
Why I collect it
I use the information you send me to reply to your enquiry and understand whether we'd be a good fit to work together. I don't add you to a mailing list, sell your data, or share it with third parties for marketing.
Analytics data is used to see how the site is performing, in aggregate. It isn't used to identify you.
Legal basis
The legal basis for processing your contact details is your consent. You voluntarily submit the form and ask me to get back to you (GDPR, Article 6(1)(a)). Analytics and advertising cookies also run on consent, given through the cookie banner. You can withdraw either at any time.
How long I keep it
I keep your message for as long as needed to respond and, if we start working together, for the duration of our professional relationship. If we don't end up working together, I'll delete your details once the conversation is clearly closed.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete or port your personal data, and to object to or restrict its processing. You can exercise any of these rights by emailing me at the address above, and I'll respond without undue delay.
If you're not happy with how I've handled your data, you can complain to the Spanish data protection authority, the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos, at aepd.es.
Hosting and third parties
This site is hosted by Squarespace, which processes data on my behalf. Your contact form submission is stored there so I can read and reply to it.
If you accept cookies, Google Analytics and Google Ads may also process data about your visit. Squarespace and Google do not use your data for their own marketing purposes on my behalf.
