Maya
The full brand and the UX and UI for an app. Not launched yet, so this is what I can show for now.
Soft and flowing, with a rounded m and a full stop that signals presence and closure.
The wordmark needs room to breathe. The "m." height is the unit. Keep at least that much space on all four sides.
A single flowing "m." drawn from the wordmark. It carries the brand at small sizes: app icon, avatar, loading state.
Matte, powdery and warm, with no cold tones. Marsala leads, the mid-tones support, and the two lightest shades carry most backgrounds.
One serif with a voice, one sans that stays out of the way.
High contrast between thick and thin strokes, with soft, slightly rounded terminals. It reads as considered rather than clinical, the same warmth the wordmark has, at heading size.
An open, humanist geometric with tall x-height and generous counters. Light carries long passages calmly on a phone. Bold does the work of buttons and labels without shouting.
The pairing splits the job cleanly: the serif gives the brand a face, the sans gives it a voice. Their shared roundness and near-matching x-heights let them sit on the same screen without friction, while the contrast in stroke weight makes hierarchy obvious at a glance.
